We are "Climbing for a Cure" at the 2026 Mt. Washington Climb to the Clouds hillclimb race! Get a Radial Dynamics team shirt and help us raise $5K for EB Research Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa, or "EB" for short, which is a family of life-threatening rare genetic disorders that affect the body's largest organ: the skin.
Individuals with EB (including a family member of Radial Dynamics founder, Eric Amato) lack critical proteins that bind the skin's two layers together. Without these proteins, the skin tears apart, blisters, and shears off, leading to severe pain, disfigurement, and internal and external wounds that may never heal. It is estimated that 500,000 people worldwide have EB. Individuals with the most severe forms of EB have a life expectancy from early infancy to 30 years of age.
Co-founded by Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder, EB Research Partnership uses 100% of donations to fund research which gets continually re-invested through their "Venture Into Cures" funding model. Since 2010, they have funded over 160 research projects resulting in 3 FDA-approved treatments with the goal of developing a cure by 2030.
